Championing Road Safety and Victim Support

Advocating 30 km/hr Zones Around Schools in Cameroon

As we commemorate the 7th UN Global Road Safety Week from May 15-21, 2023, CADVAR joins global and national voices in calling for the implementation of a 30 km/h speed limit near schools in Cameroon. This initiative aims to prevent fatal road incidents and protect children's right to a safe journey to school.

Road Safety Campaign at Government Technical High School Ombe

On May 24, 2023, Government Technical High School Ombe in Limbe, alongside CADVAR, launched a road safety awareness campaign. They called for the implementation of a 30 km/h speed limit around schools in Cameroon and other developing countries, aiming to protect students from road accidents and ensure safer access to education for all children.

Advocating for Safer School Zones in Cameroon

As part of the 7th UN Global Road Safety Week from May 15th to 21st, 2023, CADVAR is joined global advocates to urge the implementation of a 30 km/h speed limit around schools in Cameroon. This initiative aimed to prevent fatal accidents and ensure the safety of children on their way to exercise their right to education.
